Little white lies
Am revazut zilele trecute The invention of Lying. Un film usurel asa, tampitel, nu grozav, dar cum stateam si ma uitam la el cu gandul aiurea mi-am zis cum ar fi sa poti sa spui asa ce-ti vine in minte. Siiimplu, atat de siiiimplu, sa fii acolo in your true colors in fata celorlalti, doar ca... oare cum ar inghiti lumea adevarul tau, adevarul asa cum e e, gandurile tale needitate?
Well, zis si facut. Cum minciunile astea conventionale (white lies, denumite ele dragut) sau asa pentru ca trebuie sa te integrezi in societate mi se par stupide - dar necesare - am facut un mic exercitiu. Si daca le spui oamenilor macar acolo cat de cat ce vrei, cum vrei, de ce asa si de ce nu altfel, cum vezi tu lucrurile si exact ce gandesti, reactiile sunt fabuloase. Interesant de urmarit, ce-i drept, dar triste in acelasi timp pentru ca... mama cat de fals e totul!
Vei fi privit cu alti ochi, oamenii vor zambi absurd si vor spune fie ca nu esti asa, fie ca nu te cred, fie ca nu vor sa creada asa ceva. Ma rog, e un fel de social suicide. Dar cum eu sunt putin anti-social... who cares?!
Penibil de altfel cand te gandesti ca trebuie sa porti manusi, sa spui ce, cum si de ce trebuie pentru ca sa fii acceptat, sa fii inteles si sa fii ascultat. Adica sa te ascunzi in spatele... conventionalului or something.
Dar. de dragul vremurilor cand spuneam lucrurilor pe nume si oamenilor in fata fara menajamente ce si cum, din cand in cand, o sa am cate o zi de blank truth, true self. Asta sunt, asta gandesc, daca ma inghititi cu noduri sau deloc... it wont't kill you.

Hi I'm Bob. I'm the spokesperson for the Coca-Cola company. I'm here today to ask you to continue buying Coke. It's basically just brown sugar water. We haven't changed the ingredients much lately so there is nothing new I can tell you about that. Changed the can around a little bit though. You can see the colors are different there and we've added a polar bear so the kids like us. Coke's very high in sugar, and like any high calorie soda, it can lead to obesity in children and adults who don't sustain a very healthy diet. And that's it. It's coke.
